Kathmandu, Nov 17-Number of people infected with coronavirus has increased in recent time. The country recorded 412 new COVID-19 patients in the last 24 hours against 377 on Tuesday. With this, coronavirus caseload has reached 818,035.According to the Ministry of Health and Population, such number of coronavirus infection was confirmed in course of conducting 11,993 tests across the country.

Similarly, 202 people got rid of COVID-19 on Wednesday. With this, number of people recovered from the virus has reached 798,916. The recovery rate is 97.7 per cent, added the Ministry. Likewise, a person succumbed to COVID-19 in the latest update which took the death toll to 11,483. The country has now 7,636 active coronavirus cases. A total of 7,163 people are in home isolation, 473 in institutional isolation, 224 in ICU and 60 are in ventilator support. (RSS)
