FSF-N To Join NCP-Led Govt

OSNepal, Kathmandu, 28th May: Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N) will join the Nepal Communist Party (NCP)-led government as the two parties have reached the two-point agreement at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu today. According to the PM’s Personal Secretariat, two chairpersons of the NCP — KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal — and FSF-N Chairman Upendra Yadav signed the agreement that has paved the way for the latter to amalgamate in the government.

As per the agreement, the demands raised by the FSFN during its agitation as well as issues related to constitution amendment would be addressed on the basis of mutual understanding. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday gave assurance that the constitution would be amended keeping in mind people’s aspirations and the country’s interest.
