Pakistan on Sunday reported 3,613 new COVID-19 cases, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Monday.The NCOC, a department leading Pakistan’s campaign against the pandemic, said the country’s number of overall confirmed cases had risen to 1,182,918, including 1,064,319 recoveries.The number of active cases has risen to 92,367 who are under treatment across the country, including 5,606 in critical situation.

According to the NCOC, 57 people died of the virus on Sunday, increasing the overall death toll to 26,232.Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most-affected region of the country in terms of the number of cases with 438,327 infections followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 403,157 cases.
